Why did you start in the online world?
I have had a few roles before in employment from recruitment, to sales and construction. I've never had any luck with working for a company that doesn't close down or make changes internally. The last two roles I had were in recruitment and construction, both of which depended on having contracts with contractors, vendors anyone they can get business from. Once I was made redundant from my construction role, i found it very difficult to get another job and it was painstakingly hard to get work in any role. I offered free trial periods, but two of the employers cut me loose straight after. So I stopped that idea. So I decided I was going to make my own money, have my own business. I've always wanted one any how just never knew what to do, what I would sell? Got no real education or skills. But then remembered that most industries in the world need tenders to continue making money. So I done some research for about 2 weeks to find out if it was possible to get my hands on some tenders, that are being advertised, and sure enough I found a way and all of a sudden I had 33,000 tenders to offer the British economy.
Then what happened?
Well, as I said I worked in various roles, but never online. I didn't even know how to make a website. So I started reading some books from the Library and started to do some research on google. Three weeks later I made one. Compared to what my site look like know it was rubbish, took a lot of work to maintain and very unpractical. But it was there to the world to start trading.
I had problems
I very quickly realized that nobody was coming to my site, and that it wasn't like a new shop in my town in south Wales, where everyone talks about it before its opened. I realized that the Internet is a massive place and that to get anywhere I need to know how to get my site in front of peoples faces and get them to start buying.

Today in the world of Web 2.0, there are many means to getting traffic to your site or online business. After 2 months of not making a single penny on the Internet, my ambition wasn't disheartened, if anything it made me more determined to succeed even more, I knew how much of an impact on my life this would be if it did. I thought "this can't be impossible it has to be achievable, over-wise nobody would do it!!!" again went back to the library done some research, used google. Then found people were making a killing using methods to advertise most free some paid. Obviously being out of work so long, I had no money to invest in paid traffic so had to find the best and most constructive free methods. Again doing research (you should see my note pads!) and came across a mountain of software, ebooks and tutorials, all on how to get free traffic to your site. Obviously for most quality information you have to pay, and I was penniless. But this only cost $9.97, which in Britain is about £6. I could afford that.
So I bought the info, software and tutorials
I was amazed, there is thousands of information there, most of which is not advertised on the site. When I did my research this information was being sold singly by loads of different people. But who ever put this together obviously realized that newbies need information and leaning material, but also they don't want to pay £50 for one or two videos or techniques, it was all put together to make the newbie have a fighting chance at making it in the online world.
How did I use all the software, info and tutorials?
Well I found it late at night, So I started downloading the software straight away, read a few of the books, then looked at the clock and it was about 3am. I was scared to turn off the computer in case I lost the site never to be found again, luckily they give you a unique username and password so access forever. Woke up the next day and slow but surely I started putting everything into action. I'm still working on some of them today 8 months on. At first I only had u-tender.com. When my weekly reports were coming in, my traffic was starting to go up slowly and on my second day I made my first sale, only £5, but my first. I was over the moon, chuffed to bits. Had even more hope. And that was just using two of the techniques. over the time, I've learnt how to master web 2.0 and not only master it but make some real money from it. I'm now earning three times the amount I did in construction and now all the steps are in place I hardly work at all. I've just had my first child a baby boy called Marley. And I'm really looking forward to the upbringing I'll be able to provide, that I wasn't able when I was a Kid.
