Now, we get into the real fun stuff. This is the bread and butter of DirectMatches. This is the reason why you stay here and continue to use this site. Without contacts, you have nothing here. So, I am going to show you how to add contacts, lots of them, easily and efficiently so that you have a continuous stream of people to talk to, network with, and market to. This is what it's all about.

Since writing this post, I have almost 44,000 contacts in DirectMatches. That number has probably grown and will continue to grow as you read this. I have been on DirectMatches for just over 3 years, so it has taken some time to build up that contact list. But, with the proper work and attitude, you can have a huge list as well.

Why do you want a large list of contacts? Several reasons: 1. you will always have new people to send group mails to 2. you will always have messages in your inbox, which gives you more opportunities to get to know people, makes friends, and share you business 3. you will be considered an expert in the system and people will look to you for advice 4. you increase your odds of making profile of the week or profile of the month, which earns you a $100 bonus 5. you will constantly have new products and ideas to research that can help you and your business ...and so much more.

So, how do you add contacts? Several ways: 1. Whenever you have an email in your inbox, click on the person's profile and click on "add me to contacts" from their profile page. 2. Each day, send a congratulations email to the profile of the day winner and then add them to your contacts. 3. Each week, send a congratulations email to the profile of the week winner and then add them to your contacts. 4. Each month, send a congratulations email to the profile of the month winner and then add them to your contacts. 5. Approve all new contacts from your profile page that sent you a contact request. 6. Add all your personal referrals as a contact. 7. When you listen to our Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday team calls and are given the top user names of those on the call that can help you and address your questions, add them to your contact list (and also add them as favorites, so that you can easily access them when you have questions and need an immediate answer or help. This is done directly from their profile page, where is says "save as favorite.") 8. and my all time favorite - go to the search tab at the top of your profile page, click on networking search, unclick any checked boxes, search profiles within the last 24 hours, and allow for 50 profiles per page, don't touch anything else, and click on submit. You will usually have 1 to 2 pages of people who have joined DM in the last 24 hours. Click on "add me to contacts" and go down the list until you have hit every one. You can expand your search to people within your local area, people who do the same business as you, etc.

You will have more contacts then you know what to do with by just adopting some of these methods listed. And, with that, you will have an endless amount of people to network with, get to know, and market to.
